Wahl Eversharp Deco Band Woodgrain

Shown here is a circa 1929 Wahl Eversharp Oversize set. The colour is known as Rosewood.

 

Whereas many pen companys around that era made pens out of hard rubber in a pattern often referred to as woodgrain or 'Ripple', the Wahl Eversharp company released a series of pens and pencils in a colour known as Rosewood. The colour is similar to other pens of that era, except that in my opinion Wahl's pattern had more red in it, rather than orange.
