Are there any American made pens now that contain parts from elsewhere?

 

I know there's been a fan push for Karas Kustoms to make a fountain pen. I'm sure if they did the nib at the very least would be from somewhere else.

 

Oh, I see they have it in the works.

 

Phountain, does this count?

My Pens in chronological order:

Baoer 388 - Black - M nib

Lamy AL-Star - Blue - F nib

Kaweco AL Sport - Raw aluminium - M nib

Bexley, and Edison are both made in Ohio. Both are fitted with German nibs.

There's a guy in West Des Moines near where I live that owns a store..he sells a ton of fountain pens from all over the world..and he makes his own. His pens are very high quality and are impressive. However, kinda expensive. It's called Quill & Nib if you want to order from him or are close enough to go look and buy.
