Rainbow Prelude

The short review below was done sometime last year on Clairefontaine paper. I no longer have the ink. I did have a little problem with it drying out in some dry writing nibs, but my main problem as a lefty overwriter was the drying time while writing. I'd guess that most people will have no trouble using this ink.

The small Xs on the comparison image below were made to indicate the point at which the colors looked most true to when they were actually written, however I'm not sure this can be detected on the scan.

Thanks for looking!

Very nice ink. And always a pleasure to see examples of your writing (particularly interesting for me as a left-handed overwriter trying to learn cursive italic). Thanks for the review Ann.

I always enjoy seeing your beautiful writing, and the Cerise sings to me.

But more than that -- I can't stop staring at your lovely pen!

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words. This ink is dead on in color to the Cerise clothing color popular in the 1950s. I had a jacket this color and recall my mother telling me it was called Cerise. It's a hard color to describe...It's not quite "regular" hot pink, nor red, nor orangish--it is a distinctive shade of it's own. :)

Best, Ann

What a beautiful color!! I don't like very much the reds, but this one is great. I will try it as soon as possible. Thanks for sharing.
