Pelikan Ductus

Recommended Posts

I have the gold Ductus and it is the most beautiful pen I own, and I have several Souverans, two Cartier, MB and Waterman pens and vintage Sheaffers and this is the most beautiful, to me.

I would like to find the Palladium/Silver version of the fountain pen.

Does anyone have one to sell, or suggestions for finding one?

And as for the Pontiac Aztec, surely there must be worse cars out there (*trots over to 'World's Worst Cars' book, trudges back*), my God, you're right; never have the scales fallen from my eyes so dramatically!!!

In the Aztek’s defense, it was a pretty good car that just happened to look terrible. There are plenty of terrible cars out there that look good enough to sell. In the end, looks matter less than whether a car will still run and pass inspection after 10 years.

unfortunately for the Ductus, I would imagine you’re out of luck if you damage the nib, since there wouldn’t be much in the way of replacement parts. Worst of both worlds for sure.

If your car has them, make sure to change your timing belts every 80-100,000 miles. (Or shorter if specified in the manual)

wow  didn't even realize this thread existed.. BUT....  the Pelikan M800 series is by far my favorite pen style and I have 3 of them.  When I was in Berlin a few years ago I wanted another Pelikan as a souvenir and picked up a Ductus (broad) because it was a similar size but a completely different style and vibe.  Yeah the carts aren't the most ideal way to go but I'm good with it.  I really enjoy the look and using the pen.  It's a keeper.
