While I agree that there is much similarity between the 200/400/600, the 600 is a little longer- and in my hand that makes all the difference!

ah well, i was referring strictly to weight....

I sortof but not really wish I'd gone by to take a look at the 425 or 415 or whatever it is.

k

I cannot disagree with you about weight.

I had a look at a 425 (green with silver cap) last month, and was quite taken with it! I think it is far more classic looking than the 625, and is perhaps my favourite Pel thus far (albeit to observe rather than own).

I just got a great deal on a M-605 in blue. It wrote butter smooth medium, and had a fine looking nib.

I sent it back to get a BB nib, in I'm sending it off to Richard Binder to get a cursive italic nib made out of it. I thought to give him as much nib with as possible.

I have a Cross Hatched Silver Parker 75 in Medium (bought before that fancy French name came to be applied to them, and an Esterbrook in broad. Some of my other pens take care of fine and extra fine. In spite of how smooth it wrote, I did not need another medium.

I had not expected to get a Pleikan, in that I had six piston filler pens as was. But it was on sale for E-99 or $135 and not E-250 or @$330. My wife, shows me the ad and asked that dumb question, did I want it.

In reference to P. T. Barnum; to advise for free is foolish, ........busybodies are ill liked by both factions.

Ransom Bucket cost me many of my pictures taken by a poor camera that was finally tossed. Luckily, the Chicken Scratch pictures also vanished.
