Stipula daVinci

Further, what some posters' suggestion about sending it to a nib master is ridiculous. For a $600-700 pen, the nib should be perfect. In addition, don't think for one moment, those so called nib

masters can do magic, I have a Sailor modified by John Mottishaw and a Rotring 600 modified by Richard Binder, both were disappointments. A simple factory made Lamy Italic beatss them both. If it is a proven renounced nib, don't touch it, you should take it back to the factory. The dryness is the nib and the whole design of the feed mechanism. I have had a few other pens that have those problems and I got rid of them since them. A pen should be a faithful servant, it should perform at all times.

Is there additional thinkingon the current DaVinci series? Seriously considering a purchase. Any help is appreciated.
