1. Sheaffer Touchdown Admiral- black.

Comes with a 14kt two-toned Feather Touch fine nib that writes smooth and wet. Barrel and cap have moderate wear. Barrel imprint is good, blind cap imprint is weak and has a few flea bites on it. GF trim in good shape. Visualated section has some transparency.

 

Seal, o'ring and sac restored.

2. Sheaffer Touchdown Statesman- burgundy

This pen has a 14kt two-toned open x-fine that writes a consistent wet, smooth line. Barrel and cap have moderate wear, imprints are weak, though. GF trim in good shape.

 

Okay, there's one big problem with this pen. There's a hairline crack on the back side of the cap (opposite the clip-couldn't get it good in the pic). No light shines through it, and it's stable. I didn't notice it till after the pen was restored.

 

So if anyone still wants the pen, I'll let it go for 20.00 shipped. If no one does, I'll pull it and wait till I find another cap for it somewhere. I actually have other caps just like it but none in burgundy.

 

I figured I'd at least offer it "as is" in case someone wanted a good writer and didn't care about it. The thing is fitted with seal, o'ring and sac, and writes nice. So it's your call.

 

Prices include shipping in (standard shipping) the USA. I'll ship international for whatever extra it costs (Usually only $1-2 more).
