I am using a Boheme similar to the one in the previous post. Mine is a BB nib. I thought it was considered to be stainless steel. Oh well. I'm also using a 147 Traveller - OM nib - both with MB Royal Blue cartridges.

Decided against bringing the Fitzgerald and Collodi to a client's office. Although I love using these pens, I don't want to be seen as Mr. Fancy Pens. Bringing the 149 and a Waterman Expert II instead. Florida Blue and Heart of Darkness.

thanx, rock-man and hari!

how difficult is it to find the back jewel/snow emblem? BTW, was $125 a good price for this? it writes flawlessly!

Congrats on a fine purchase. A really nice Meisterstuck.

I have a feeling there are some more MB acquisitions coming in the near future!

The 60's and early 70's MBs are really nice. If u have the opportunity, try one with an OB or OBB nib or even BB which is more stubby in character. I like them all. Soft smooth with a wet but controlled inkflow. Very addictive. :-). Enjoy your new 124!

Life is like Chinatown signage, its cluttering, confusing but everything that you need is there, just have to look harder....

The 149 worked great for taking notes yesterday, as did the Expert on the return trip by train.

But I'm back at the company office today, so the Fitzgerald B and Collodi F are on active duty. Florida Blue and Bekakt Haags.

Edit: funny how paren open, B, paren close turns into a smiley (B)

hello everyone! remember what i said about my 124 missing the back jewel? well, very carefully, w/o disturbing the performance of the spindle, i epoxied the piston cap to close the hole and then gave it a coat of acrylic and here's the result:

pix are not the best you've ever seen, but i don't think i did such a bad job -with the repair, that is!! :happyberet:

My MB 144, currently filled with Diamine Claret. It's a wet F on the side of M, adjusted for me by Mike Masuyama (it used to be a somewhat dry writer). I've had it for 22 years, and I'm glad I had the flow tweaked. It makes writing with pretty colors very enjoyable!

i just realized that some of the posts here include mech pencils, BP's and RB's. and since i had a set of Meisterstuck -all but the FP- from back in the 80's 90's.........

... today: mech pencil, HB graphite. i like 4B, but it seems to break very easily in this MP.

Still working at home :headsmack:

Luckily I have some good companions. Mann filled with Royal Blue. Collodi with Mystery Black and Pelikan M1005 with Hitchcock ink for some highlighting.

My preferred supplier (no affiliation just a very happy customer):

Appelboom

My rebuilt (by MB) 146, after a visit to a nibmeister to get it performing properly. It writes like a dream!
