... I don't really have sufficient words to describe the sheer smugness I get from using this fantastic pen at work! B) ...

Pavoni, very well said :clap1: I feel like this every day, using my greatest pens all the time. What a pleasure

Damn it :headsmack: Now I'm going to have to go and get myself another MB 149 with a 'BB' nib and a bottle of that Iroshizuku Asa-gao ink. Pesky forum. Always teasing, always teasing :bonk: . Cheers OC Mike (great handwriting  )

As usual, I've taken these quickly...........so forgive quality please - but here are the two MBs currently in use - the Hemingway fresh back from repair..........and my 1930s 236 - always inked!!!

Starting with writing samples from the two pens........and then trying to show nibs and feeds and sections. Enjoy!

Glad your baby is home :cloud9: Sure glad you know how to write with those skinny nibs, cause anything smaller than my paintbrush looks like drunken spiders.

Always when I read you post I wonder how your handwriting looks like.

Just curious. Can you please post some samples?

Haha, +1! Drunken spiders versus paintbrush fluidity should be good!

On topic: took the Collodi (F, with Bekakt Haags) and Fitzgerald (B, with Florida Blue) with me to work. Nobody seems to notice that I'm not using a black fountain pen today, which is probably a good thing.

Brought my Mann with me. Filled with Midnight Blue.

This is the first time that I use this ink. Have read the various reviews of it. I will flush it weekly.

Charles Dickens with mystery black. Pleased with that ink and going to start using some of the other MB inks I have from now on.

Until I'm in a position to, click on my blog link in my signature and look for my Quo Vadis Habana review. You'll see my scrawl using IB and BB nibs.

Thank you for pointing me to your review. Now I know why you want at least a B-nib. Your handwriting is not that spacious and even with a BB-nib it looks very normal and good readible. If I use a BB-nib I can only write three to four words in one line. (Or it isn't readible anymore.)

NICE!
