and with the Noodlers ink or the racing green??

I'm actually not minding the Herbin Lie de The in mine currently

cheers Alphabet!

Cheers Shrinknib. How's OZ? Actually the Faulkner is inked with Noodler's Burma Road Brown. An ink that is a very close match to the resin. I love the J. Herbin inks and will have to try the Lie de The one of these days.

Charles Dickens with a 0.7mm cursive italic nib loaded with Florida blue. Lovely pen and feels just right, uncapped obviously !

I'm using a Canon G9. It has a great macro feature. Here's an example:

A bit of exercise for those that haven't been used in a few days (or so)...

From L to R...

Sailor Sapporo - M with MontBlanc Holiday ink from 2008 (? - the red ink)

Double broad Solitaire with MB Racing Green

Broad Hemingway with MB Oyster Grey

Fine 146 (PT) with Iroshizuku Kon-Peki

Broad 149 with Iroshizuku Asa-Gao

All started up without a hitch and performed as fantastic as always... Although, I think the 149 may need a sibling... In medium, maybe...

After three evenings of patiently rinsing and flushing with plain water, I am finally writing with my Montblanc 32 fountain pen.

It has a fine nib that writes smoothly. It is not 'buttery smooth', there is just a hint of tooth. I have filled the pen with Lamy's blue ink. This is my 'safe ink'.

The pen looks elegant and it fits nicely in my hand. I am happy with it and am sure it will give me many hours of pleasurable writing in the future. There are no deep scratches and very little brassing on the cap.

Just filled my 144 (purchased at Nieman-Marcus in the 80's) with Noodler's Zhivago. Writes like a dream as always.
