Hmm... if I'm ever in Tasmania I'm going to have to see whether Chris will let me play with her pen collection!

Using the good ol' MB 146 inked with MB Black at the moment. I have 50mL of the stuff to get through before .........

I receive a new 60mL bottle of ink and a brand new MB 149!!! Only a few weeks away bunny01.gif

If you are ever in Tasmania and don't come to play I will be very disappointed!

BTW, your 146 looks empty - or was that shot posed some time ago? unsure.gif

Yes, the shot was posted a few weeks ago. But rest assured, my pen is full now minus the few pages I've written with!

In Rotation: MB 146 (EF), Noodler's Ahab bumblebee, Edison Pearl (F), Sailor ProGear (N-MF)

In storage: MB 149 (18k EF), TWSBI 540 (B), ST Dupont Olympio XL (EF), MB Dumas (B stub), Waterman Preface (ST), Edison Pearl (0.5mm CI), Noodler's Ahab clear, Pilot VP (M), Danitrio Densho (F), Aurora Optima (F), Lamy 2000 (F), Visconti Homo Sapiens (stub)

1979 MB 149 with extra fine nib and with a mix of private reserve and herbin bleu de nuit.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Found an excellent combo. Filled the Dickens B nib with Purple Mojo instead. It writes on even the slickest paper and looks really cool. Keeper combo

146P medium and Pel BB. With this ink, it writes like a fine.

How do people decide which pen to use? I want to start using my WE. I only want to ink one and use it for a few months before cleaning it and moving onto the next. my problem is I can't decide which pen to ink up first and the result is I don't ink any of them.

My Collection: Montblanc Writers Edition: Hemingway, Christie, Wilde, Voltaire, Dumas, Dostoevsky, Poe, Proust, Schiller, Dickens, Fitzgerald (set), Verne, Kafka, Cervantes, Woolf, Faulkner, Shaw, Mann, Twain, Collodi, Swift, Balzac, Defoe, Tolstoy, Shakespeare, Saint-Exupery, Homer & Kipling. Montblanc Einstein (3,000) FP. Montblanc Heritage 1912 Resin FP. Montblanc Starwalker Resin: FP/BP/MP. Montblanc Traveller FP.

Well, I was only going to carry one pen this evening, but then I wandered into the MB Forum, and...

Now I have my little 134 out, scribbling with it.

Ah this pen obsession! :ltcapd:

You can send them to me and I'll issue them one at a time...after testing them for you first. :bunny01:

I keep reverting to the Dumas, Fitz, and Poe, pretty much in that order. The rest come after. YMMV

Well, it finally made an appearance. Just sat and scribbled the evening away with my 149 with the fine nib, filled up with Noodler's Heart of Darkness.

Seemed strangely appropriate for the evening... :D
