MB 144 med nib with MB blue black. Yesterday I filled a large Moleskine notebook and today wrote 7 pages in a new A5 Black N Red. Very fountain pen friendly.

Does my new 146 in rhodium furniture count even if I didn't fill it yet today. I just got it for Christmas and I'm just looking at it right now but will fill it soon, I just can't decide on MB Blue or Violet.

Yesterday (cards on presents while wrapping) and today (notes on who got what for Christmas):

146R with MB Seasons Greetings 2007 ink. The perfect pair for Christmas! :D

My 149 with the XF nib and Aurora Blue ink. It was just the pen I picked up this morning. I jokingly said, as I'm trying to fight off a really bad sinus infection, that I was looking for a "comfort pen", and this was it.

"Here was a man who had said, with his wan smile, that once he realized that he would never be a protagonist, he decided to become, instead, an intelligent spectator, for there was no point in writing without serious motivation." - Casaubon referring to Belbo, Foucault's Pendulum.

I'll be packing a 1990s 149 fine nib filled with MB blue black, an unsaturated slate blue with nice shading that has a beautiful vintage/weathered look. Probably my favorite ink of all time. My back up is a 1980s 146R medium nib filled with Pelikan blue black, a pretty nice shade of blue too, though darker. They'll be carried in my new old stock Diaries and Notes tan 2 pen case.

My 146 which pretty much comes to work with me everyday.
