What MBs are you using today?

I am very attached to MONTBLANC.

I don't have a choice but to own few pens.

I have two ballpoint pens( Star Walker/ Meisterstück Classic/ Hemmingway rollerball ) :bunny01:

And my 146 Meisterstück " le Grande " 1980 Medium Nib Which I am using right now.

And this project is my Photography Book on Montblanc is still not done. This is the dummy I did two years ago.

I am planning to have a visit to the French Alpes once more to add some more Pages to my book. :happyberet:

i really don't post my pens but i've always liked the profile of the 100th historical:

Sweet looking pen. Love the look of it. They captured the vintage look to a tee.

A mid 70s 146 with an 18C monotone OB nib, paired with Quink Permanent Blue.

That's an especially nice combination.

I'm beginning to be won over by OB nibs, and I like Quink Permanent Blue.

Thanks for telling us.

I recently got a 149 which I honestly haven't used that much (shocking!) but my most used pen is the 14 cardinal cap.

Man GP, these two got to share a case?!?! That's like Will and Harry sharing a Range Rover about town. ;)

Gotta love Yu-yake and Kon-peki in broad nibs. Looks like you are set up for a fun few days there.

If you want less blah, blah, blah and more pictures, follow me on Instagram!

MB 146 90th anniversary rose gold which had MB lavender ink in it, but it ran out on me - so, now the question is what to fill it with next. I do like MB's Royal Blue - a rather vibrant Royal Blue, or JFK.

GP. That 90 year.

Really? I'm not being sarcastic. It's the first MB I bought - 2nd hand.

I didn't think it was such a big deal - I bought it off a seller on e-bay. I reasoned that there wouldn't be many folk faking 90th edition pens, so I thought I'd be better off starting there. The lettering on the nib pretty much assured the authenticity of the pen.

As far as I can see, the 90th anniversary pens came with same 14K nib as all other 146's - just it's rose gold. There's a regular 146 rose gold on sale in the UK now.

Or have I missed something?

My very first fountain pen was an MB 149 I purchased in late 1981 from Neiman-Marcus, in Fort Worth, TX. I barely used it over the years, thinking it was too unwieldy and risky (ink spills, leaks, slow-writing, etc.) for a high-pressure corporate environment, and opted instead for a number of high-end (MB, Pelikan, et al) roller-balls and other writing instruments for work. Meanwhile, I continued collecting and using fountain pens at home occasionally on my own time. Yesterday, I finally dragged out my original, still-like-new 149, worried that the piston mechanism might have dried out or deteriorated after all of these years. I filled it up with Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo (a beautiful blue) ink, and I've been writing with it ever since. It's wonderful.

You missed that these are 149 sized with comparable nibs. BB on the 90, OBB on the Blue Hour.

Today I'm using my new 149 with O3B nib inked with Diamine Safari. But after seeing GP's post I'm considering changing ink to Kon-Peki. Another thanks to Tom and his posts for leading me to the O3B rabbit hole! What a nib--and truly versatile.
