After our recent 149 MoPs from earlier this year, I've become a huge fan of them. So far I've kept my 149, Moon Pearl, and 90 Year Special Edition. I really wish the Blue Hour also had an MoP topper. Now that would be a juicy pen ✒️

256 BB with Mystery Black ink.

Wet and juicy.

Ski-slope is a very generous supplier of ink to the big nib. Able to keep up with my fast scrawl.

My great old 146, AND my Solitary Dove Gold and Black. The Dove pen has a nib that reads 144. I am not sure that it means it is a MB 144. What do you think? Help! C. Skinner

Enjoy.

If I am thinking of the correct pen ("wing" nib?) I was surprised how pleasantly chunky it was. I liked it but was told they had flexible nibs which put me off - how does yours write?

Hi da vinci

Yes, that's correct, the wing nib. Very chunky. Not really a flex nib, imho - although it does have a small amount of flex built into it. I'd say 'smoothness' is the main quality these nibs seem to have. They're effortless to use and put down a nice variable line, all day long.

I believe the 25x series was scrapped due to the cap system being flawed, but I'm surprised the nibs didn't make a comeback in some other model. Definitely among my favourite nibs.

Thanks
