Today I'm using my first MB, a 149 fine nib circa mid 90s. I call her Gertie.

Today a more recently purchased, but older 149 fine with a bit of flex.

He's called Bertie.

It's a Montblanc Christmas!!!

 

Writing my Christmas cards today with two pens:

 

A 114 (Mozart) with OB nib sporting a cartridge of the MB White Forest Seasons Greetings ink

 

A 146R with M nib filled with MB Seasons Greetings 2007 ink (the deep red vanilla one).

149 broad with MB blue black. A perfect combo.

And a 164 for non-fp friendly cards.

I used Virginia Woolf with MB blue (or is it royal blue?) to write in my journal, until I realized that she needs some water cleansing fast (dirty skipper). Now, I plan to ink my 146 (a deliciously sweet B nib!) with vanila-scented MB Season's Greetings and write my holiday cards.

 

Have to go and do it. Now.

My 146 with B nib has been perfect for writing holiday greetings with MB vanila-scented ink. And after I have cleaned and refilled my 149 with MB black, I'm falling in love with it again. It's so smooth!

I sold my only Starwalker FP without using because I thought the nib was too strange....

Maybe I should buy another one but maybe cool blue.

 

Anyway, I'm using a 149 F too, naturally with my Naky shu.....

Special thanks to Max for hand delivering it to MB Hamburg and painfully explaining to the manager that this pen has been there 4 times in the past year and half and still wasn't fixed. It's working now. Frankly I don't care if it leaks again. I am not letting it go again. I'd hug it if thought it wouldn't break.
