What MBs are you using today?

Today we are using my vintage No 32 with Bung Box Emerald, and Le Grand Platinum with Defoe. I guess it's a green kind of day for journaling and scribbling. Should have a Tolstoy by Wednesday next week. Hope that it's as cool as the hype.

The cap rings in the Pelikan 100N had worked loose and I didn't want to lose them. Instead took out an MB 12 in grey thermoplastic with an OBB nib from an MB 72 which has the MB 12's F nib.

Have not seen what inks I have left. Would prefer black as banks and other institutions requiring form filling are leery of other inks.

Here is the Paper Republic notebook-- it's the Grand Voyageur [xl] -- superior quality and so is the pen roll.

The colour of that leather is wonderful

these two, on this trip to jakarta--my workhorse agatha christie, and a 100th anniversary historical rollerball that i use for filling out immigration and customs forms.

I would really like to be using my new MB 149 in platinum trim, however, the universe is conspiring against me so I must wait an indeterminate amount of time.

 

You would think I have been very bad.

 

That said, I have been using my 146 with platinum trim in preparation for the new pen,

Montblanc 100 year Anniversary FP

MB 149, purchased used ffrom CFP in 2010 with a F nib. Writing style has grown toward broader nibs, and so I just swapped the F nib for a used O3B signature nib, 18K. Pen arrived back today, just in time for #fountainpenday.
