What MBs are you using today?

I'm using my only two. My newly exchanged EF nib Starwalker and my Starwalker fineliner. There is a distinct difference between the black colors both from montblanc refills That doesn't bother me much because I'm going to be using velvet black in the FP once I run out the cartridges.

Yes, it is a fine, with a nice amount of flex on the downstroke.

I was looking for something smaller than a 149, but not the same pen on a diet (146). I had a 246 with a spade clip, but like the curvy clip on this one. Not as smooth and flowing a cigar shape as the 146, but it has some design features that make it stand out in an MB crowd.

I have my new-to-me 146 inked up with BRG. I have it paired with a Danitrio Cumlaude filled with Diamine Poppy red and am using them both for Christmas/Hanukkah/Holiday cards.

I'm using a borrowed (sent to me for repair) 149 with an early 1970s BBB nib. Yes it is BBB. Yes it is really BBB. This nib is wider than any of my BB nis and is a semi-flex too. What a fantastic nib, and too bad for me that I must send it back to its original owner.

 

Did I mention this 149 had a BBB nib?

After not using a 149 for a while, the 146 feels like the large pen that it is.

I usually have my MB 146 or one of my Writers Edition pens inked and on my home desk all the time. They mostly have f nibs and I use either Waterman Florida blue or Aurora blue. Off topic - By the way, wasn't Aurora supposed to come out with some new ink colors?

In addition to the StarWalker, I'm using the Hemingway. I pulled it out of the case to help make a decision about another Mb (*sigh*) and was astounded all over again about what a fabulous pen this is. Seriously... wow. Inked with Pelikan Blue-Black.

Today I'm back to the Poe again, with MB Blue black ink. It's getting quite a workout - I think it'll need to be refilled.

 

Also, of course, the MB 149 Bb is always in the desk stand, filled with MB saffron ink and waiting for me to make yet another To Do list. It sees daily use.
