Today I'm using a 149 from the early 90s (14k nib) filled with MB mystery black and a modern 146 in platinum version filled with MB oyster grey (both are B nibs).

Regards,

S.

None... I left my pens at home by mistake  Could someone please post a picture of a nice MB 146 OM to cheer me up?

edit: I'll just enjoy slowpoke2's posting, it even includes a 136 :notworthy1:

Still on my MB 246G with the most deliciously wet and characterful broad nib, carrying Mystery Black. With only a smidgen of ink to be seen through its fabulous ink window, I am hopeful the pen will last the day. Looking forward to giving the 246 its well deserved flush and soak tonight :D

Slowpoke2, love your MB 136 transitional. With that OB nib, you have chosen just the most perfect ink :clap1:

Inked are a 114R, a 139L, and a Torelli 139 in deep purple striated celluloid with white gold accoutrement. I'm watching the old 139 for seepage past my recently installed cork.

Iro Marasaki sure looks good with that feed and nib. It has looked a little washed out on some people's, but I saw it a couple places like yours where it has some very sophisticate pop to it.

Was playing with an MB 146 OM + Iroshizuku Asa-gao and an MB 244G EF + MB Black at home yesterday evening. (Parker 75 FP + BP today at work.)

Life is like Chinatown signage, its cluttering, confusing but everything that you need is there, just have to look harder....

Sorry. Misread the topic. A Waterman is not a MB, but my 144 was on the desk, always inked an 11 year veteran. :bonk:

Not a fountain pen, but it is a MB, on my computer I have a bordeaux classique ballpoint and black classique ballpoint along with a classic mechanical pencil.

I tend to use my mechanical pencil more than my fountain pens or ball pens. The MB pencil just fits in my hand. However the Sonnet and Insignia pencils I believe have a better mechanical operation.

This new arrival :cloud9:

The Carnegie sports a super broad stubbish and very wet nib. Fantastic pen. Nib needs to grow on me. Inked with Private Reserve DC Supershow Blue
