The nib was exchanged by local MB boutique? They have single tone nib stock there?

Hey Daeng,

No they don't have it ready in the MB boutique. I had to order it from them and the turnaround time was approximately 6 weeks. They gave me a call to bring the pen over to swap it.

Thanks for sharing! :)

MB vintage BF (button filler) with #6 flexible, wet BBB nib (a dream to write, at times feeling like using a brush)

 nice!

Life is like Chinatown signage, its cluttering, confusing but everything that you need is there, just have to look harder....

Just testing my new OM MB 149 and I am loving it. I was able to make a great deal on this pen that has been unused in stock by its previous owner.

This is my first MB in 30 years. My previous one was a MB Carerra student pen. It feels like coming home. :-)

this Meisterstuck MB ballpoint with an adapted refill:

i like this refill better than the MB's. it has a low viscosity ink, which one finds in the japanese made BP's.

the refill:

cheap asian made refill cut to 3 7/8"

fisher space pen adapter for parker

... voila!

Thank you!

It is a medium nib but not like the medium on my 149 which is more like a broad. This one writes more like a true medium. Very smooth and nice and wet, a real joy to write with!

All the best.

Using my recently acquired 146 with a Medium nib, inked with Pelikan Blue Black. Later today I will be inking my 22 with MB Irish Green.
