Sacrilege, you heretic!

Repent, ye sinner.

Just pointing out the obvious, just sayin' ....

The moment we want to believe something, we suddenly see all the arguments for it, and become blind to the arguments against it.

But nothing was said about Richard making the pen correct for them.... this should also have been mentioned

The question I ask myself every night before I go to bed, "should I wait in line."

Yes.

Threads like this are really unfair to Richard, or to any craftsman who attempts to do his job well. Nobody deserves kudos like "deity". We are all human and make mistakes.

I've never met Mr. Binder (from his big reputation here I'd guess he does very good work), but I have met two people in the past month who received pens from Mr. Binder that they were dissatisfied with. It does happen.

And if they contacted Richard and told him why they were dissatisfied he would correct the problem immediately...

Richard's customer service is fantastic....

I agree about the Deity title...... Demi-God is more like it... since mistakes can (rarely) happen

Does this answer your question marks?

Please note that the post to which you are pointing was made several months ago and that very few things in this Universe remain static. :)

Our site's Repair & Restoration page currently displays the following statement:

This week, I expect to be working mostly on pens that arrived during the week of October 20. Pens arriving this week should return in about 13 weeks. We can offer expedited turnaround on a case-by-case basis, at our discretion; please contact us for more information.

Note to those who may read this in the future: If today's date isn't February 3, 2009, the above text may not correspond to what's actually there.

Whoops! Boy, is my face red.

Thanks for the correction.

Wow...ok let me please clarify. I was in no way saying that Mr. Richard Binder was in any way onmipresent, omnipowerful, nor an actual god in any way, shape, or form. The reference to him as a "diety" was what we call an exaggeration. This is sometimes used to show one's excitement about a particular topic and is rarely meant listerally. So in calling him this I was neither expecting anyone to actually pray to Richard nor was I weighing whether or not his tally of good deeds "deserved" the title which I threw his way. That said, let me rephrase this in simpler terms using slightly smaller words that should be a bit less offensive to the easily agitated.

Richard's nibs are real good!
