What watch(es) do you wear with your Esterbrook?

I wear an 1883 Elgin (key-wind, key-set) regardless of which pens I carry. Sterling silver chain with a shepherd's-crook buttonhole attachment.

I wear my 10 year old Armitron (a $30 Timex equivalent) with one spring bar pocket torn out and drilled through for a length of music wire, with a 25 year old stainless clasp band (the clasp on which is just about worn out). Sure wish I could afford something fancy -- maybe someday I can get my granddad's old railroad watch fixed...

I've got my Seiko quartz watch on (dunno what model, it's a dress watch). I would prefer a mechanical, but get tired of winding it every day. The copper Estie J would be the appropriate match for this.

I still wear a watch most of the time - a $10 Casio from Walmart! I'll probably keep wearing it, but with a cell phone in my pocket I feel sort of silly with it. Someday, I'll likely sell a Breitlling Navitimer and GMT Rolex that sit idle and neglected.

Either a stainless steel Citizen Eco-Drive Chronograph or one of my Timex Triathlons.

IMO, the Citizens Eco-Drive may be The Perfect watch.

 

Mine is the full titanium chronometer, never needs a battery or winding, accurate to 15 sec or less a month and you don't even have

to reset the calendar on leap years (perpetual calendar). Not to mention uber-robust.
