The Roly, is my everyday watch. Its light and accurate.

The vintage trench I wear when I dress up. The others dont get as much play as they should. One is a Buluva (A gift 6 years ago) The other two are Rotary Swiss watches.

Hi there,

As I got infected by watch collecting together with pen collecting. I tend to wear together with mb 149, a 1928 IWC watch which is basically a pocket watch work reshaped in a wrist watch in pink gold.

If someone wants to see a picture, just request and I'll take one.

Cheers,

Daniel

I have to admit that I have sold off all of my Montblanc's, with the exception of a sterling silver Doue BP.

On my wrist is a Cartier Pasha C, an Oris TT2 day/date, an Oris diver regulator, and a 20 year old Tag Heuer Formula one.............

(and a 50 year old Elgin Railroard Pocket watch..)

But these PP's, AP's, and IWC's have been driving me crazy..........

I don't know your pen taste, but for the watches we are definetly on the same line... :D I suppose it was not that easy to get your new Nautilus? I waited for one year and haven't got it yet...

I also waited for a year or so but I am glad I did because I ended being able to get it at retail without the exaggerated premium some vendors charged.. Incidentally, my local AD has the 5712G in stock if you are interested sealed for an incredible price (no affiliation) :) The 5130R is commonly found though.

Wow, just some great watches shown. The Pateks, the Audemar P, the IWC's. I have had my eye on a Bruguet with guilloche dial or a Chronoswiss, but just can't seem to pull the trigger. I have on MB, a 146, but I am soon to get a Starwalker ballpoint to add to it.

Ill wear my Rolex Datejust with the black sunburst dial

http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x184/memphislawyer/P8060079.jpg

or my JLC Master Control with a more formal business setting

Would love to get a Reverso to add to it.

I have a soft spot for simple, uncluttered, vintage looking watches and am not particularly fond of round ones.

I appreciate memphislawyer's JLC Master Control and Bryant's Rotaries, but all watches posted above are very interesting indeed. Thanks for the pics!

My daily wear, regardless of pen is this Zenith New Vintage 1965 in RG:

My dress watch or when I need a lower profile is this JLC Reverso Classique in SS:

Dear Everybody,

This is my watch but unfortunately, I don't have a montblanc yet as I am new in this fountain pen world. What montblanc model does this watch match to?

Yours truly,

bat

Redrob, the JLC Reverso (in any number of permutations) has long been my main grail watch (kinda like when I say I got my grail pen here every few months, there is more than one watch on my list-but this is the main one).

My father was a watchmaker for 35 years, and I developed a deep love for them by watching him delicately place a balance wheel into a freshly serviced watch.

The watches on this post are driving me crazy.

A Fortis Cosmonauts Day/Date automatic...A workhorse watch for a 149 or 146 workhorse pen. Have used it for three hard years of deployments and extreme weather. No issues or problems---just like my 146 and 149 steady writers.

I'm currently looking for a Fortis Cosmonauts Chronograph because I like the Day/Date so much.

Hard times don't last, but hard people do.

Thank a Veteran.
