Cap "Star"

The seller told me a day or two ago that the pen was originally purchased in Jordan, and 'migrated' to Israel. Very pleasant person, and she said she had a number of inquiries about this pen from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

Eric

Yes, I was one of those who inquired about the pen. Unfortunately, I contacted the FedEx office here, and the seller contacted the FedEx office there, and both offices gave us a negative on shipping.

That was to my benefit, I suppose. I wonder why no FedEx between the two countries?

Looks like an interesting piece of history

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Ah, so. I should have figured. Yes I did, and wanted this one since I passed on an opportunity for a 149 with a triangle about 9 or 10 years ago. I still regret that. I was surprised the pen did not sell for more. Especially since talkinghead blabbed all about it!

Congrats Eric - I'm glad the pen went to someone who can appreciate its rarity and backstory.
