Best Writing Experience

I'm surprised how high everyone is on Namiki Vanishing Points. I have an earlier model in stealth black with two nibs, one old (M) and one brand new (F). Neither have much flex or glide. Sometimes the pen starts dry or skippy only to flow a bit later, but almost like a ballpoint that you have to lean on for consistency. It's never as smooth, slick, thin-to-thick in lineweight, or as dark as my Namiki Falcon.

I'm wondering if Noodler polar ink or other inks containing some oil might help the VP.

Right now, a Mont Blanc Starwalker Doué and a Namiki Falcon are my tops:the Doué for looks and form-factor first and writing second; the Falcon for unmatched written line quality (it looks okay too, if a bit too lightweight and plasticky).
