Parker pen photo's

John,

I will save everyone seeing these for a third time, but I love your vintage Parkers and the way you display them. I hazard to go back before 1920, both financially and knowledge-wise. The 42 1/2 with the gold is stunning. Thanks to everyone for sharing their collections.

Here is my Duofold drawer, with a few others scattered about.

Penspender, is that a Torelli at the end?

George

Hi George,

Sorry I missed your question earlier. The 51 on the end is a VakPen 51 made by Lynn Sorgatz. This was a fluke buy it now catch on EBay.

I'm a bit of a 'jack of all trades' when it comes to pens, but Parker is my favourite maker. My collection reflects my magpie-like collecting patterns:

Since this thread has revived itself...............

These were some Parker EDs taken a few years ago - the one on the left is actually a sliptop button filler and the colours are not as bad as the flash has made them.

I was going to take a pic of my modest little collection of Parkers, but I think my wife snuck off with my camera!

This one has been my favorite for the past week....

The photo was taken with a, somewhat, hacked together outfit... Its a Canon Digital Rebel (300d) with an EOS/M42 adapter attached to a Pentax auto bellows. The auto bellows has a 100mm f4 bellows Takumar lens on it. If I remember right, the pic was shot at f22 and 5 seconds from approximately 25cm. The extra length really makes a difference with macro stuff!

Thought I would add a few more since the thread is alive again.

New to the collection is a Jack Knife Baby 20 with a gold cap band and an SAE crest on it

Three types of Parker clips. From left: Van Valkenberg clip from 1907-1908, Disappearing clip from 1908-1915, Washer clip starting 1915 but patented in 1916 (the clip date is wrong)
