Noodler's Beaver

I really like brown ink, and this one (Noodlers Beaver) seems to be exactly what I am most looking for. But there's always a rub, isn't there? I am also somewhat addicted to the idea of truly waterproof ink. So now what do I do? Wait for a waterproof version of this ink? The problem is that in coming up with a waterproof version, Nathan might not be able to replicate this wonderful velvety Beaver he's come up with.

If you're not averse to mixing inks, see my post above. It's one of the velvety-est inks I've ever used. :)

I don't know if he changed the mix or it is just the bottle I got today but mine looks like the old Crayola color Burnt Sienna, a very reddish brown.

YMMV
