Yes, very nice variation, lovely shading, too. L'Étalón is a very understated pen, IMHO. Offbase, are you sending it to Dillon because of skipping problems, or because you like thinner nibs? Being of my own liking the thicker ones, kills me to see a B or M butchered...

I prefer fine nibs (or XF). This pen was a gift and was a M (leaning toward B ). I needed to have the skipping fixed and now I have a pen that will get much more use.

I thought you needed a B to be reground for italic, because of the abundance of tipping.

By the way, love the flow now. Good lines!

Luke 13:1-9 saved my life.

Actually, it's a fine that I loved using for several years, then somehow just refused to write anymore. I have no clue what the problem is (obviously must be in the feed or), so it's got to go in, anyway. And hey, while it's being fixed, why not make it a CI?

Doesn't write suddenly? Taking for granted you've tried with other converter, sounds like it may be clogging issues there. Have you got access to an ultrasonic cleaner?

Yes, I do love Cursive Italics too....the ones that start on 1.5.mm! :)

Waterman's L'Étalón is a wonderful line. I'm surprised not to see more of it around here. (Also surprised, I guess, not to see one on my own desk....)

A lot of younger folk these days who are used to printing seem to have a difficult time reading cursive writing, but your writing is nice and nicely readable.
