Nice! Really nice! I love my Pelikan Green, but it is a bit too light for doing much writing. I think your mix could turn it into an everyday choice for me.

You can use smaller amounts of black for more vivid green color. Also if you add little brown in the mix it becomes nice warm dark forrest color which I can't quite identify, something like the color you see on the moss that grows on bark.

Nice color! I really like it a lot! I also admire your pen holder...wonder if one has ever been made to hold a pen and one cigar??

Pen holder is nice indeed, how ever it only holds one FP since second compartment is bit small. It could hold cigar easily :) I have pencil there (non-mechanical). It's around 80 years old and still in active use.

Nice! I use mostly Pelikan inks in my vintage pens -- and since I hate the standard colours, I do a lot of mixing.

I mix the green with black 65/35 to produce "Green-Black", and green with brown 65/35 to produce "Army Green".

I also make a very sophisticated looking "Plum" by mixing violet with brown 60/40, and a "Stormy Seas" by mixing

green, blue and black 50/30/20. That is basically my Pelikan colour pallet.

How about posting samples of those mixes? Or Pelikan mix thread with all Pelikan colors mixed in various ratios :) I currently have red green and black in stock, I hope to buy new bottles to replace now empty violet, brown and blue bottles around next week.

I will be happy to, when I return to Austria in November. I left my Pelikan inks there, and they cost substantially more here in the US.
