Apologies for the poor quality photographs as they were taken on my phone.

Today I decided to find out where Diamine Inks were on the way home. When I joined the forum a few weeks ago, someone told me that Diamine were in Liverpool.

What I didn't expect was that they are actually only 3.5miles away from my house!

They were closed when I called around, otherwise I might've asked about the Umber ;)

Probably to make things worse... I don't actually (as yet) own a bottle of Diamine ink. I wonder what colour I should get for my Parker Senior Duofold? Perhaps a green?

Just to prove where I am...

Hi Guy,

I didn't care for the Diamine Emerald, but maybe you would. Diamine Imperial Purple seems to be a pretty popular color. I liked it OK, but it was a darker shade than I prefer.

You might like Sepia or Dark Brown. Next time I get Diamine I'll probably try their Monaco Red.

Best, Ann

I like Emerald, Orange, Purple... :D

Emerald is a beautiful green, IMHO. It's kind of in the middle, not too dark, not too light.

Diamine Emerald is one of my favorite greens! Except I find that it wants to feather a little on lots of papers, regardless of the pen... but I  the color.

Oh yeah, and thanks for the pictures!! Seems like it should be more classy, like the bottles...

I can see why the Diamine website, www.diamineinks.co.uk, shows the 1925 factory on the homepage ;) . After all, the brand has a great history, and it doesn't hurt to emphasize the history if it helps to rebuild market share and maybe even expand the market in the present.
