Esterbrook J transitional in pearl grey with Waterman blue/black. It lays a nice smooth line. I forget the nib number. In anycase a nice pen indeed!

A matched brace of 45's for me today:

One with Binder Blurple

The other with Noodlers Burgundy

My FPN LE ran out of ink on me this morning so its out of rotation and on to the sink for a good rinsing!

Good morning all!

Seems humid today - fortunately not a running day for me.

Taki, I like the fishbowl!

I think I'll use the Waterman 0952 1/2V - it's wet & flexy.

I was at a conference at Niagara-on-the-Lake today, taking notes with my fine/extra-fine nibbed third-quarter 1946 golden pearl Parker Vacumatic filled with PR 2005 DC Supershow Blue. My trusty FPN LE with medium steel stub nib and Noodler's Apache Sunset was close at hand as well.

I've been using a 45 Flighter and/or a standard 51 constantly over most of this year with another pen that rotates at the completion of 1 fill. 3 days ago, I felt the urge to ink up my red Talentum and it remains inked today, so in total:

- a navy grey 51 Aero, F nib, Noodler's Squeteague,

- an Argentinian 45 Flighter, Bindered 0.6, Noodler's Squeteague,

- red Talentum, F nib, Noodler's Red-black.

You can't always get what you want... but if you try sometimes... you just might find... you'll get what you need...

Today I went to work with

-Waterman Expert with R&K Alt-Bordeaux

-ST Dupont Olympio with Noodler's midnight Blue

-Sailor 1911 with Noodler's Squeteague

Surprisingly it is the first time ever (!) I went to work without a pen loaded with black ink.

(But there is still a bottle of Waterman Black in my drawer in case I suffer from withdrawal)

Last night, I decided to replace the pen I normally use in my journal with a Pelikan Souveran M600 transparent blue demo (looks like the LE Blue Ocean) so that's what I'm using today. Filled with PR Tropical Blue. It's one of the best writing pens I've used.

Sounds like a very nice combination  I'm waiting for my own bottle of PR Tropical Blue en route from Michigan :)

The 45 Burgundy, Frontier Flighter and Sudoku are being packed in the backpack for the adventure to Old Mexico that begins in the morning. We are heading out for a medical mission trip that will be challenging and fun and a big blessing to all involved.

I will probably be out of touch for a week or so, so carry on and keep enjoying those pens!! Who knows maybe I'll come across some pens that need a new home on my travels. Adiós!

Today when I got to the office I pulled two pens out of my briefcase: a Waterman Edson Diamond Black with Waterman South Sea Blue ink, and a 1945 Parker "51" with Noodler's Red ink--both pens are understated and elegant, and get the job done quite well.
