I have been using my Monteblanc Boheme Pirouette Lilas with a pinkish purple ink. That is what you get when you do not flush the pen before changing colors.

Montegrappa Reminiscence (sterling section) with a Masuyama-sculpted medium cursive italic nib filled with Kung Te Cheng. This is one of the smoothest and most expressive writers I've experienced; a true pleasure to use.

I did a couple nib adjustments. I'm using what I am now calling my Mysterioso Pen.

I also dug out a Lanbo fountain pen, and adjusted the nib on that. I'm using it a little, while debating selling it.

The two new pens that came in the post today and which prevented me from cleaning the house on my day off were:#

  1. York Minster 13th Century Oak Firewood with gold fine and medium nibs (well I had to try them both out didn't I?!?...
    1. Writing with a piece of history
  2. Sheaffer 300 in Iridescent Red with medium steel nib
    1. My first Sheaffer (only took me 29 years)
    2. Very impressed with:
      1. The smoothness of the nib
      2. The width of section
    3. Will be using it unposted though! :excl:

Best wishes

James
