Inked my Parker Vacumatic with J Herbin 1670 Bleu Ocean and my Montblanc 34 OBB with Diamine Vermilion this morning.

The Highlander was a documentary, and the events happened in real time.

TWSBI 580, b Pilot nib with Diamine China Blue

Parker Premier (Tartan), f nib with Noodler's Navajo Turquoise

Lamy Studio (Palladium), m nib with Aurora Blue

Nice ink colours today. The light blue/turquoise/blue-purple work really well together. I'm finding China Blue to be a rather dry ink -- it's something I've noticed in several pens now and I think it works best with a wet writer. I've swapped out the Pelikan nib I had on the TWSBI for the Pilot. I'm finding it is a really nice combo and I think I'm going to move the Pelikan on to a new home. Too bad, as the Pelikan broad is almost stub-like. These three pens are pretty weighty together when I've got them in my 3 slot pen case, but I like that. :)

Hm... I was gone for some weeks in Tibet and cleaned all my pens. I reinked only some of them: M149 (recently serviced), Nakaya Dorsal Fin2, Nakaya Decapod in aka tamenuri and my M800.

However, I just received a Parker #18 eyedropper (c.1905), and I could not restrain to test it. Wonderful #2 flex nib. Here it is:

WOW,that's cool and nifty.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Today I switched to my 146 with a .6+ CI nib that Mike Masuyama ground for me last Friday at the Dallas pen show. I am in love. The line variation is perfect and is just small enough for every day usage.

My back up today is a sterling silver 144 with a FM stub nib, also ground last Friday by Mike.

Could not be happier today :)

Due to a late flight last night, left home this morn without any of my trusted pens, so had to endure the day with a Cross Med ballpoint; the good news it reaffirmed why I went back to fountain pens a couple of years ago.
