Today will be a Platinum 3776 Century Chartres Blue with a Music nib, using Platinum Pigment Blue. Just got this yesterday, so it's going to get a workout later today.

Sheaffer No Nonsense filled with Diamine Classic Red in anticipation of my student's 2nd MD/PhD chapter.

Am now looking for something closer to fresh blood red.

Pilot Custom 823, Fine, with Diamine Graphite ink. I absolutely love this ink. Shading, color, wetness, etc. Along with Platinum Carbon Black, it is one of my favorite dark(er) inks.

Platinum #3776 Century Chartres, Extra Fine, with Platinum Carbon Black. See above.

Sailor 1911 Realo, Broad, with Waterman Serenity Blue. Works great on cheap copy paper and the nib puts down a perfect line for grading.

A Pilot Lucina in that lovely coral red shade filled with Iroshizuku Kon-Peki is today's journal pen, my carry around pen is a Kaweco Sport Ice in orange with Velvet Black ink and a couple of Tachikawa School pens for sketching.

Dusted off the Parker Vector M-nib; unfortunately only uses cartridges so limited in color selection, so black is the choice today

You can certainly get a converter for a Vector.

I was not aware of that; thanks for the insight, I will begin my search today.

Lamy 2000, m nib with Private Reserve Grey Flannel

Sailor 1911 Standard (black with rhodium trim), m nib with Diamine Ancient Copper

Platinum 3776 Century (black with rhodium trim), music nib with Private Reserve Sonic Blue

Trying out some new PR inks that I purchased recently (Laywine's had them on for half off!) After reading some reviews/watching some videos, I was concerned about the green tinge in Grey Flannel. When I first wrote with it, it did seem like a khaki green...and I wasn't thrilled with what I was seeing. However, when it dries, it loses most of the green, turning into a really nice shade of grey. I've been using it for most of the week and it's really grown on me! Definitely different than my regular blues, has nice shading, and isn't too light (although a wet pen helps). Sonic Blue is pretty nice and I'm interested to see how close it is to Sailor Blue and/or the old formulation of Diamine Blue Black. It has some good character and it'll be neat to see what it's like in a regular nib vs. the music nib.
