TWSBI Diamond 540 with fine nib and Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue.

PELIKAN - Too many birds in the flock to count. My pen chest has proven to be a most fertile breeding ground.

Aurora Ipsilon, late '90's, fine nib in yellow. Herbin Violet pensee (sp?). I actually really like my Ipsilon. Not my fanciest pen, but it's very comfortable for long writing sessions and very well made. The nib even has a little bounce, unusual for these pens.

Just received my first Pelikan pen via eBay, a M150 with a medium pen and it is now loaded with Pelikan Black. Looking forward to using this for the next couple of days. My first couple lines were enjoyable.

I just inked up my new purple Lamy Al-Star with Akkerman #13 Simplistes Violet.

Looking back at my journal entry from last Friday, written in Diamine Imperial Purple, I'd say these two inks look very similar.

I like purple. Wish you had posted a pic

Looking forward to a big day of brainstorming. I've prepared:

The Lamy 2000 with Noodler's Black

The Lamy Safari with Visconti Blue

The Sailor Chalana with D'Atramentis Plum

It's quite nice out here in the sunshine...

Isn't it always the way? You write out a nice quote, and you realize you've misspelled a word. Drat.

Pen: Pellikan Souverän M600 with Italic Broad nib

Ink: Diamine Ancient Copper (haven't gotten tired of it yet!)

Paper: Clairefontaine

A Duke/Uranus 966 with PR Ebony-Green, and a Tower (Sears) from an unknown maker with Hero Blue-Black.

BTW I love the copper and the handwriting. Very elegant! Great job!!

Today I inked up my new Picasso 916 Malalga with Pelikan 4001 brilliant black. I haven't had lots of opportunity to write with it, but tomorrow I will spend the day with it in my hand.

Moved a half-bottle of Hero Blue-Black to work so the Romus will have something to drink.

Also cogitating on what to do with a ballpoint loaded with "invisible" UV-reactive ink... other than mark things invisibly, of course. I have already discovered that parts of the work Romus are UV-reactive (the jewel in the cap and the end-cap on the body) while the barrel and cap are not... but they're all clear plastic. Now I'm wondering why two different kinds of plastic were used.

Kaweco AL Sport in an anodised blue finish and with a fine nib.

Waterman Intense Black -boring, but being relatively new to this compulsion I may need to expand on my ink collection?

Today it's a Jinhao 250 with Pelikan Fount India (I've never had a problem with it in any of my pens), and a Black Pilot Varsity.

Today was Diplomat day, I received a Diplomat Classic (med. GPS nib) and filled the cartridge with Noodler's Bad Belted Kingfisher. It's a very smooth writer, nice and heavy, works well either posted or un-posted.

My other Diplomat has a 14k fine nib, filled with Noodler's Bad Black Moccasin; also a smooth writer but not as heavy as the Classic:
