What Pens Are You Using Today?

Say rather "Climate Change." It adjusts expectations.

Just got a Parker 17 in the mail, and it's getting a shakedown today. WET! BROAD! I need to become famous so I can do signatures-- it's making bigger lines than my Waterman Phileas medium.

Finally letting my Pels have a rest today. Even doing a complete clean out and soak. Today I am trying to use the ink out of my Burgundy Parker 51 and my new Teal 51 demi. Inked up in my pen case for later use today are my MB 144 a little 150 Pel and the Red Ripple # 5 all with various browns I am testing out. Also shortly plan to work crosswords with my Black and Pearl Streamlined Dufold Sr. pencil.

Enjoying a thundering / raining Friday the 13th at home!!! smile.gif

Today it's just me and my Pelikan m605 (filled with Diamine Sapphire Blue). But, that's mainly because I'm waiting to see what might show up in today's mail. I sent a Parker Sonnet Cisele to Parker to exchange the medium nib for a fine, and it could show up today (or not).

Update: The Parker didn't arrive, so I inked up the VP with the fine nib.

'45 Vacumatic for actual writing, and an Osmirois 75 with a B2 in it's gob for monkeying around with a Littera Bastarda cursive I'm trying to get a grip on.

I signed a few letters with my Waterman Phileas (M) loaded with Noodler's Legal Lapis.

An ongoing project is to make reference cards of engineering design and analysis procedures. I am using a Lamy Safari (EF) filled with Noodler's Black for the notes and sketches, Safari (F) with Eternal Brown for "highlighting" important parts.

Journal entries get the Pelikan 805 (F) with Zhivago.

You know what Taki...? It is 38F and I wonder if the doom and gloom crowd are even paying attention.

Oh well.

Testing new inks today, got a new batch of PR.

Very inexpensive Reform Skywalkers with very good nibs.

I finally got a new hood for a Cordovan "51" so I inked it up, and have been rather enjoying it. I didn't think I'd enjoy this color this much!

Slept in today, and I feel good biggrin.gif 47F already and it's going to be 60's

Wow! JD, those twoink colors look very cool in demos! What are they?

Have not decided what to use but I think I will use decimo with Arabian Rose, Pel M250 with Purple Martin.

Good morning, JD and everyone! It's 34F but the high will be 70F

Probably using my Lime Green Prera with Pinkly because the current pages of Moleskine Diary bleed through so bad and it's the only one I can use

Today I'm trying out an Imperial.

Not a Sheaffer... Imperial is the brand name. Got a little crown on the clip and a warranted point. Ooh. Ahhh. From the way it was acting after wiping, I don't think it will get a lot of time in the rotation-- like real royalty, it appears to have some trouble keeping its coloured fluids from dripping out.
