I like the colour very much, this is my only ink, I cannot compare how it flows or lubricates the nib. Saying that, I cannot find fault technically with the ink. The price/colour is why I chose this ink. There was another blue, 'Blue Pervenche', that seemed too bright. I find to my eye there is the slightest purple tone when it has dried which I like. Hope this rambling helps ctt1wbw....

Yeah thanks, I appreciate it. The price got me as well. I have some Sailor ink coming too, so I'll be able to compare inks pretty soon.

After getting some new nibs from Sheaffer, I'm putting my old Targa 1003 back in service.

Sailor inks are my absolute favorite. I think I saw a few posts back that you're getting Apricot? It's great -- bright, but not too bright and puts a smile on your face every time you put pen to paper. Good stuff.

Today's line up:

Black Sheaffer Intrigue, m nib with Sailor Sky High

Matte black Pilot Vanishing Point, m nib with Waterman Purple

TWSBI 580, b Pelikan nib with R&K Salix

Yep, the Jentl Apricot. It came more recommended than Noodler's Apache Sunset, but I'm going to get a bottle of that too. I also bought two bottles of J. Erbin from Amazon. Have you used that too?

I have J. Herbin Bleu Nuit, and it's one of my best inks, hands down. Smells like flowers, too (not in an overpowering way). Haven't had a chance to use the other JHbin inks yet.

I converted a Noodler's Konrad Demonstrator to highlighter use with a 1.9mm Knox nib, and thouroughly tested it with Noodler's Dragon's Napalm.

A very bright combo for red highlighting.

Of course I had to compare it to my M205 Pelikan higlighers, one in yellow and one in green.

They look very nice together.

And to have something to highlight, I wrote several lines with my Kaweko sport, TWSBI vac 700 and Kagleu 356, inked with Noodler's Kiowa Pecan, Pilot Blue-Black, and Private Reserve DC Super Violet, respectively.

Took an early morning stab at a pad with a Namiki Vanishing Point, recently refitted with a fine nib and fueled with Namiki Black ink. Love the 60 ml bottle the Namiki Black comes in.
