First off, I have been reading this thread from the begining and I'm drooling all over my keyboard! I have learned more about fountain pens just from this lone thread of 435 pages. I've been looking up various brands on the internet which gives me a few lessons on the pen. So glad I found this forum.

Today I am using my Pelikan M150 with fresh Pelikan 4001 brilliant black ink. I am going to learn more about inks this weekend so I can try out a few more.

Inked my 3776 Century Bourgogne for the first time to write a letter to my much missed best friend, and used Noodler's North African Violet, also a first time try for this color.
