Does this mean that the pen is a real pain to use?

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).

Create a Ghostly Avatar and I'll send you a letter. Check out some Ink comparisons: The Great PPS Comparison

Don't know where to start?  Look at the Inky Topics O'day.  Then, see inks sorted by color: Blue Purple Brown Red Green Dark Green Orange Black Pinks Yellows Blue-Blacks Grey/Gray UVInks Turquoise/Teal MURKY

Omas Ogival Extra, Burgandy cap and barrel with 18ct trimmings, B 18ct nib Shaeffer Skrip Blue,

supported by a Cross Sterling Silver Ball pen, that I bought new in 1981 at my favorite B&M store, and has played a supporting role in many a battle.

Agonizingly "pain[ful]" I must say! :P

PotD are:

1) Fine nib deep red Jinhao 250 ($12.50 including shipping) inked with iroshizuku kiri-same (warm grey),

2) MB 22 in black with MB lavender purple and

3) Green estie J with 2668 (firm med) nib inked up with diamine green/black.

I am going to flush out the 22 and rotate it out tonight (it's really my son's pen)... not sure what will replace it tomorrow, maybe a hero 184 or my trusty MB 254 (in burgundy).

A Sheaffer Intigue loaded with Akkerman's No 10.

Serious pen, serious ink.

The two are married and apart from the odd clean are never separated.
