In summary: love the size and shape. The Michael Masuyama medium italic steel nib needed some work to get writing, but once I did that it is fine.

Sailor 1911 Standard, m nib with Sailor Apricot

 

TWSBI 540, m nib with mix PRB/PRDCSSB...but the nib is a gold Sailor 1911 standard nib... :)

During the day it was my Pilot Custom 823 with medium nib. Tonight and tomorrow it will be my Visconti HS with fine nib. Two fabulous pens.

I agree -- fountain pens are the best defense against depression.

Fountain pens are my preferred COLOR DELIVERY SYSTEM (in part because crayons melt in Las Vegas).
