Concentrating on two pens today to try and finish off the ink in them:

Kullock fantasy 51 "Centenial Blue" with gold hammered cap filled with Dromgools/Noodlers Blue Steel ink

Parker 75 Sterling Cisele with xf nib filled with Parker Quink Blue Black ink (impossible to empty this pen the nib is so fine!)

"Desk" based writing an Esterbrook Dip-less / #2550 nib - parked in a 444 font with USN markings on the lid. Current ink for this one is Parker Quink Blue.

For carrying around I'm using a Hero 330 "Star Trek" filled with Noodler's Polar Black. Noodler's get mixed reviews but one of the things I like about their Polar inks is that they don't stick to skin verywell. They are designed to react with cellulose, so I never find myself with hard to remove ink stains on my writing hand when I use Polar black.

Today I'm using my Waterman CF from the 50s-60s. Very smooth XF nib; Cosmic Cobalt. It also does very nicely for thumbnail sketches of woodworking projects. :)

Platinum Cool, fine nib, J. Herbin Gris Nuage

Platinum Preppy, medium nib, Noodler's El Lawrence--it locked up yesterday five hours and about six pages after I inked it, but I resuscitated it today with nib floss and a drip or two of distilled water.

Congrats on the palladium Legacy! I saw it at a pen boutique and it's absolutely gorgeous!

PD: Congrats on all your pens, but that Legacy is a real eyecatcher. ;)

Thanks! It is indeed a sharp looking pen and I like the heft of it. I actually picked it up used for a heck of a good deal and swapped out the old fine nib for a new medium. Unfortunately, I'm having flow problems with it though -- I'll write about a paragraph and then the nib dries up, forcing me to prime the feed with the converter. I've switched converters, inks and flushed the pen with soapy water, all to no avail. It's causing me to not enjoy the pen as much as I'd like to. :( Not sure if this is just a particular property of the Legacy inlaid nib?

Today's line- up:

Lamy 2000, m nib with R & K Salix

Matte black VP, m nib with Waterman Purple

Black and chrome Sheaffer 300, m nib with Diamine Majestic Blue

Today is the first use of a new ( to me ) "Diamond Point" fountain pen and pencil set. New sac, fussed with the nib, new eraser and 1.0 lead for the pencil, lots of simichrome to bring back the metal parts, inkked up with black Quink. Inaugural task was to write a report for later typing and presentation at a board meeting late this afternoon. A totally pleasant surprise! This pen has immediately become a favorite. Nib is fine and flexible - feels like it is not even on the paper, leaves behind a nice trail that responds to pressure with no fuss at all. Now I guess I need to find out who made "diamond point" and more about the set. I picked it up last summer at a flea market in Maine. 2 dollars......... I was told they guessed it to be from the thirties, but that is all I know.
