Yesterday, the 21st August:

Esterbrook black "J" with a 9314F nib, Noodler's Bad Black Moccasin ink

Pelikan M200, OBB nib, Noodler's Liberty's Elysium ink

Parker 95, with a repaired medium nib, Noodler's Liberty's Elysium ink ¹

Esterbrook copper "J" with a 9556 nib, Liberty's Elysium ink

And a test of my new Jinhao X450, medium GP nib and, fittingly, Diamine Imperial Purple ink -- Photos soon, as soon as I can prise it from my wife's hands.

At this point in the day I'm still sucking down coffee, so no writing yet.

A Lamy Al-Star 1.1mm italic with Bouquet d'Antan (annoying trying to write small in my appointments diary, but just looking at it makes me happy), and, of all things, a Rotring Art Pen. I know they're not meant for daily writing, but the wet italic nibs on those things can be *lovely* for journaling sometimes; I was using Tchaikovsky from the Diamine Art Set, and the sheen in a wet calligraphy nib is just gorgeous.

During the day, rotating use among Lamy Safaris as follows:

1. Charcoal Black with Fine nib, inked with Waterman's Absolute Brown

2. Blue with 1.1 nib, inked with Lamy Blue

3. Shiny Black with 1.5 nib, inked with Sheaffer Skrip Brown

4. Red with 1.9 nib, inked with Lamy Black

Lamy Safari pens and Blackwing pencils -- yum!
