Pilot Custom 845 Urushi in my own mix of 5/6 different inks to create

a bluish dark-geen that shades nicely. In comparison PR Blue Suede

is much greenish & light.

Pen Log, Supplemental:

Pilot Vanishing Point, medium nib, Pilot black ink via cartridge

Aurora Ipsilon, pewter blue, IIRC the official color description--a greyish blue, in any case--medium steel nib, and it's either loaded with Iroshizuku Kon-peki or Noodler's Ottoman Azure--the latter, I'm pretty sure.

Well, this is technically from yesterday, but I'm still up so I 'm going to fudge it a little.

1) Noodler's Flex-Piston Creaper (flex nib) with Noodler's 54th Massachusetts

2) Noodler's Konrad (flex nib) with Noodler's Kung Te Cheng (okay, okay, it's me we're talking about -- am I *ever* without this ink? :lticaptd: )

3) Parker 51 Aero (my joy of a '49 Plum  with a M -- I think -- nib) with Diamine Denim. This will get a lot more use today because I'm going to be airborne....

Also in the running: Rotring Art Pen (EF nib) with Pen & Ink non-shellac India Ink, assuming that there's any ink left in the pen -- I used it quite a bit to do drawings this trip; and (possibly) Kuretake eyedropper brush pen with Noodler's Georgia Peach highlighter ink.

"It's very nice, but frankly, when I signed that list for a P-51, what I had in mind was a fountain pen."

I bought a Lamy Nexx on sale with a Left Handed Nib and I'm in love with it. I have filled it with Diamine Majestic Blue and all I want to do is write with it.

The nib feels amazing (who said there's no such thing as a LH nib?), and I feel like I'm writing with a beautiful felt tip pen combined with the perfect fountain pen.

I have a LH Schneider Base and it's great too, but this is even better. I briefly went back to my Pelikan M800 Brown Tortoise with a M nib this evening (which has been my favourite nib) and it felt ordinary compared to the Lamy LH nib. Oh dear, what about all my other beautiful pens?
