My first ever vintage pen arrived about an hour ago, so: a lovely red ripple hard rubber early model Waterman 52 filled with Waterman Serenity Blue. I don't know how to identify the Waterman nibs, but it has a lovely flex that is not too soft. Happy days.

First inking today with my kaweco sport converter to an eyedropper, this broad nib is buttery after the conversion.

 

I was a little salty when I saw that an identical one sold on ebay this morning for $9 though!

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
