Today's journal entries are being done with an Ohto Dude charged with DeAtramentis Archive Black and my walking about pen is... I haven't decided yet, but most likely, given the weather, a black Kaweco Sport classic with Pelikan blue-black. Maybe a yellow m200 with C d'A Storm;)

I'm writing an online serial thing. It's urban fantasy. And I have no idea how long it's going to run for.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Today it has been a Pelikan 120 from the 1955-65 era, just your basic green barrel and black cap. I got this pen quite by accident and it was missing its clip and the little plastic cap top that screws on to hold the clip in place. I tried writing with it and it is a very pleasant writer and I really like the piston filling system, so I began looking for the missing parts. Found a clip a while back, but until yesterday, no luck on the cap top. Turned out that Joel Hamilton had one and it arrived yesterday. I fitted the clip in place, screwed on the cap top and inked the pen with Akkerman ink. It writes beautifully and I could easily become a Pelikan fan.
