MBWE Dostoevsky with m-nib (but compared to other m-nibs it writes more like an f). Filled it with MB toffee brown.

Looooong time lurker, but i had never really posted much. I was a student back when i opened the account, so things were most unaffordable to me.

Anyway, now i am starting to slowly build a modest collection of pens. Here is the one that, in my humble opinion, gives the most fun for your buck.

Parker 51, desk set (maybe one of the other desk sets once I get them refurbished)

Parker 75 or 180 (depending on which I feel like using)

Switching my cartridge pens to bottle ink.

I'm currently using Cross Blue.

Having just started up again, I am still trying to find which ink I want to use as my standard ink.

So very glad you asked. :) I'm just sitting down to test my brand new Pelikan M205 taupe. Freshly inked with PR Tanzanite, an ink just begging for a pen to love it and put it down in its true glory. First "big girl" pen for me, too. Only this group will understand why I've been on pins and needles all day.

Just received my brand new:

Parker Sonnet Sterling Ciselé Fountain Pen with an 18k fine point nib. Waterman Serenity Blue ink. Wow! A gold nib really is super smooth. Very happy with the purchase.

Happy July 4th.

I find the top end Sonnets as good as my 51's and 75's. I will only buy a pen with a gold nib for the reason they are so smooth to use.

The Kaiduoli pen I was using this week sprung a leak somehow in my purse (see What Chinese Pen Are You Using Today thread), so now I'm using a Platinum 3776 Century demonstrator in Chartes Blue with Platinum Black ink. Gorgeous.

Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.
