A UK made black barreled Parker 51 with m nib, filled with Quink blue/black and curiously with a Parker 21 cap that I found in the wild for $2.50. I also found at the same time, a 14ct nibbed, gold capped, burgandy barreled Parker 45 (not my favorite model of Parker)for $3.50 and a Shaeffer snorkel, early 1950s model , 14ct nib for $1.00 that will need a visit to a specialist.

Been using a Lamy Safari daily for awhile now. I got this pen about 5 years ago and it wrote horribly - poor ink flow, scratchy nib and it skipped. So, I stuck it in my desk drawer and forgot about it. When I stumbled across it about a month ago, I thought I'd give it another try. I have no clue why, but it now writes perfectly.

Hmmmm..... I wonder... My son sometimes behaves horribly. If I stuck him in my desk drawer for 5 years, do you think he would come out behaving wonderfully? ;-) BTW, that's a joke, so don't go calling child services on me ;-)

I think this might be a better writer than my Pelikans, Namikis, and Auroras costing twice the price.
