Doing some research for a family member, so I went armed with:

Black Waterman Citation Taperite w/Waterman Florida Blue

Black Pelikan M400 w/Noodler's Dark Matter

Green Pelikan 400 w/Diamine Ultra Green

Sheaffer 1200 Triumph w/Sheaffer Blue

The Taperite got the lion's share of the workout today, but all of them got into the mix at one point or another...

"Here was a man who had said, with his wan smile, that once he realized that he would never be a protagonist, he decided to become, instead, an intelligent spectator, for there was no point in writing without serious motivation." - Casaubon referring to Belbo, Foucault's Pendulum.

Lamy Safari with Diamine Eau di Nil (for some manuscript work earlier), used it to test Pilot Iroshizuku Tsuki-yo, Shin-ryoku.

Pilot Metropolitan to test Diamine Ancient Copper, Pilot Iroshizuku Yama-budo.

I got an inky order today, and had to test all the pretties. :)

Copper Esterbrook J with a 2556 nib inked with Waterman Serenity Blue. A really nice combo. The cotton content in the Crane paper makes the line a bit wider than on a harder, smoother paper, but it looks fine and doesn't feather at all and showthrough is basically non-existent.

Very nice handwriting!
