Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time

Pelikan M215 m with J. Herbin Bleu Nuit

I'm starting to run my pens dry for cleaning in anticipation of the Christmas holidays. The opportunities to write will be fairly minimal for a couple of weeks, given that I don't keep a journal.

My MontBlanc Mozart (m)and filled with toffee brown, My Omas 360 LE filled with Omas blue, and a TWSBI 540 filled with seasons greetings MontBlanc ink...smells like pine trees. Oh and a Levenger truewriter with a bold nib and some brown ink....MB seasons greetings I seem to recall.

Rob Maguire (Plse call me "M or Mags" like my friends do...)I use a Tablet, Apple Pencil and a fountain pen. Targas, Sailor, MB, Visconti, Aurora, vintage Parkers, all wonderful.

I am enjoying my Starwalker, extra fine nib, Montblanc Black ink. Along with the matching ballpoint, broad point.

I had forgotten that the fountain pen nib is a nice middle ground of firm and flex. I love what it does for my handwriting.:thumbup:

Well, accompanying me to work today were;

1. 1950s MB 344 (late edition) with OBB nib, carrying MB Mystery Black (only ink I really use at work). Great writer with lovely line definition however, I need to adjust the pen to improve the consistency of ink flow.

2. 2012 Fountainbel Conid Bulk-Filler Demonstrator with M stub nib, carrying.....yep, MB Mystery Black. LOVE this pen and have become very reliant on it.

3. 1990s MB 163 for backup (MB Mystery Black, naturally) and for those fountain pen unfriendly papers/forms

4. 1990s MB 165 for my secret scribbling/notes on other people's notes/letters etc.

Same line up for tomorrow. :thumbup: Looking forward to tomorrow..............................

Is it tomorrow yet? ;)

Pavoni.
