I travel, so when I go out, I take a pen with blue ink and one with black. I rotate for fun. My favorites are Visconti's Starry Night, and my trusty Parker Duofold International. However, I am coveting an Onoto Magna 261. Just trying to convince myself to part with the $.

This week, I'll be using a MB145 (m nib) filled with Noodlers Heart of Darkness.

The pen lays a very rich line with this ink. A bit too rich for me (sic).

I hate wasting ink, I'll use up the fill (in a day) and use another black (ink).

Nervous? No, I'm just thinking...

I have been using Parker 45's this week.Today I'll be carrying a black 45, with gold trim, fine nib, with a mix of Sheaffer Skrip Blue and Blue-black, along with the matching 0.9 mm twist pencil. I enjoy carrying matching sets.

No pens today, amazingly. Today it was Bill Blass mechanical pencil. Big exam and I always do exams in pencil. And I ran out of led. :bonk: Had to use my backup. Felt strange writing with a wood pencil. Need to get more led now...eeesh. So tired. Need sleep.

Pens are like watches , once you start a collection, you can hardly go back. And pens like all fine luxury items do improve with time
