This week I've been using my Waterman Hemisphere (chrome finish), medium nib. It was filled with Perle Noir, but from today and the rest of the week I've got Noodlers Walnut. And thats about as colourful as I get for work!

Nervous? No, I'm just thinking...

My second FP just came in the mail today! I got it because it was such a great deal. Jinhao Celluloid Black with Silver Trim. It has a medium-ish nib that I wish were a little broader, and I only have one ink (Lamy blue-black, which I don't really like, but I don't want to buy another bottle just yet), but it writes really smoothly so far! It's a little heavy for me when the cap is posted, but I LOVE it when the cap isn't posted.

Today, an old faithful, sort of favourite, Mont Blanc 144M in Pelikan Edelstein Topaz ink and the

Pilot Custom 845, M nib in Private Reserve Velvet Black. Pilot M nib is much finer than Mont Blanc

M Nib.

Sheaffer Award M with Sheaffer Skrip Red, my first time using this pen since I got it a while back.

Lamy Vista B with Montblanc Gandhi, getting into the Halloween spirit with a nice orange-ish ink :)

Waterman W-3 Fine/Medium with Waterman Florida Blue, freshly adjusted by Danny Fudge, so far so good!

Sheaffer 440XG M with Sheaffer Skrip Turquoise, also recently adjusted by Danny, and writing super smooth.

Parker 45 XF 14k with Platinum Black

Pilot Vanishing Point M with Sheaffer Skrip Blue-Black

Derek's Pens and Pencils

I am always looking for new penpals! Send me a pm if you'd like to exchange correspondence. :)

Today I'm rewriting some old recipes so I'm using my basic setup; Lamy Vista M inked with heart of darkness and a frequently refilled Pilot V inked with some standard Lamy red ink.

A Jinhao x450 filled with Waterman Florida Blue. I purchased it in May, this year, but only used it once as I did not like the way it wrote. Today I decided to refill it, having played around with some micromesh, and now I absolutely love it. A great writer!

Esterbrook SJ, 2668 (firm medium) nib, with De Atrementis's Robert Louis Stevenson

Lamy Safari, M nib, with Noodler's Georgia Peach (as a highlighter) - works pretty nicely for underlining! (I don't like thick highlighters, so medium nib width is big enough for me.)

I'm writing an online serial thing. It's urban fantasy. And I have no idea how long it's going to run for.
